Very good. I bought it to chop onions, and it does a good job with that. It works best when you cut the onion into 4 parts and then further divide the quarters into layers, rather than throwing them in whole. Like this, in a broken form, I load 2-3 quarters of an onion at a time, and it chops them very well with 10-15 twists of the handle. The hardest part of this crusher is at the very beginning - if a piece is too thick, it cannot cut through it and gets stuck. Therefore, the thinner the initial pieces, the better. It's also better not to pull the handle with all your might, so as not to tear the cable. It's easy to clean; just rinse it with water, but I'm afraid to put the lid in water (there's some kind of mechanism inside), so I just wipe it with a damp cloth. The most inconvenient part of this device is putting on and closing the lid - you need to align the central rod with the groove, and this doesn't always work on the first try.
With this type of shredding, the onion releases more juice than if it were cut with a knife. As long as I grind it into a fine powder, it's fine, but when I pour it out of the bowl, it still stings my eyes.

Tested, it chops well and fulfills its function; the bowl is made of moderately flexible plastic. I like it. 1000% satisfied.
